Peak performance in the Tower

Tower Tandoori Located at: 74-76 Tower Bridge Rd, London SE1 4TP On the 22nd February 19:30 OST the Oakham Curry Club (OCC) ventured to this establishment.

On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome - the staff seemed to be pleased to see us and we were shown to our table with a drinks order swiftly taken.

The restaurant looked clean and very presentable with a lovely ambience, a variety of different flavoured poppadoms with ALL THE SAUCES was brought to the table. The sauce had flavour for days.

An order for the starters was taken, I went for the Shurawath Thali - Chicken Tikka, Adrakhi Lamb Chop, Tandoori King Prawn, Seasonal Salad, Homemade Chutney, it was clear the chef has a high standard when it comes to cooking, it was a tasty dish especially the lamb was incredibly moreish.

I feel a mention of the restroom is required due to the fact it's the best restroom I've seen in a curry house, mosaic styled surface bright and clean with a lovely scent.

For main course I ordered a Tandoori mixed grill accompanied by a peshwari naan, I was very much looking forward to a second dose of lamb which was as memorable as the first.

The customer care was second to none, the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu when asked about the different dishes.

After the meal we settled the bill which seemed pricey at £50 per person, but if you take into consideration that the drinks were flowing it didn't seem too bad.

Overall it was a very enjoyable meal and we would highly recommend the Tower Tandoori.
