Banana Leaf is a well known establishment with a restaurant in both D1 and D2. Many of our members order takeaways from Banana Leaf, so we visited the Thao Dien branch to test and review the in-house experience.

The restaurant didn't quite make our grade on this occasion, although many good comments were received about the food. It has a different and more diverse menu to many curry houses which made a welcome change. Overall however the service, atmosphere and staff needs work to make this a top restaurant, and not just a good kitchen. You can see from the scores below that the atmosphere has let the food down.

Perhaps the original D1 branch has better atmosphere?
