Mixed Experience – Good Service, but Food Fell Short

OCC Saigon recently visited Taj Grill Vung Tau. The staff were friendly and took good care of us, which was appreciated. The naan was excellent, and the starters were the highlight of the meal — much better than the mains.

Unfortunately, the curries were far too sweet for our taste and drowned in sauce, lacking distinct flavor. None of the mains stood out, and while they were okay, they didn’t leave much of an impression.

Some elements really missed the mark: poppadoms weren’t crispy, one of the breads tasted stale, and rice was delivered late. The roof was leaking, which didn’t exactly set a great tone.

Overall, it’s a budget option — and it shows. You get what you pay for. With better attention to food quality and atmosphere, this place could improve a lot.
