This Indian restaurant is a true hidden gem in the heart of D1, offering high-quality food and excellent value in a relaxed, cool setting. Although it’s a place you might casually walk past, the service and culinary standards are impressive. The starters, such as the poppadoms—crisp and delightful—and the mixed salad pickle loaded with flavor, set a promising tone. The tikka starter was succulent and bursting with taste, while the mains like the butter chicken and tikka masala featured rich, well-balanced flavors and creamy textures. The chicken tikka masala had just the right heat level, and the curry options, including the lamb curry, were rich and flavorful, making them memorable dishes I look forward to revisiting.

The Pani Puri was especially delicious, and the mango lassi, served theatrically over dry ice, added a fun touch to the experience. The menu is extensive, offering both familiar favorites and more adventurous choices, ensuring there's something for everyone. Breads were good, and service was prompt and attentive, with the manager showing genuine interest in making sure guests enjoyed their meal.

While the poppadoms were slightly greasy and small in size, this is a minor point compared to the overall quality, and better options could be sourced locally. The only slight critique is that the saag paneer could have been elevated with marinated and fried paneer, but even this did not detract from the flavorful experience.

Overall, this place is a must-try for curry lovers seeking tasty, authentic flavors in a cosy setting. It’s a small but notable treasure in the local dining scene, offering a memorable meal at great value.
